Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talentedQuantity Surveyorto join our team! In this role you will get toperform variety of standard estimating activities on an assigned project\/program.
What You'll Be Doing:<\/p>\n

\n
• Prepare contract documents and agreements.<\/li>\n
• Prepare prequalification documents and pre-tender reports.<\/li>\n
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.<\/li>\n
• Prepare and maintain budgets, estimates, cash flow forecasts, cost reports in coordination with the site staff.<\/li>\n
• Verify and approve Contractors measurement sheet.<\/li>\n
• Verify and certify contractors and subcontractors monthly applications for payment and issue payment certificates.<\/li>\n
• Verify and certify suppliers invoices and issue payment certificates.<\/li>\n
• Review and assess Contractors claims including forensic analysis of subcontractors rates for new items.<\/li>\n
• Prepare an agreement of measurements and star rates with the Client.<\/li>\n
• Participate in site visits and give report as necessary to the Resident Engineer\/Project Manager.<\/li>\n
• Ensure the submission of Contractors insurance\/bonds in accordance with the contract.<\/li>\n
• Comply with safety, health and risk management requirements. Act positively and participate in health and safety issues at site.<\/li>\n
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering from a recognized University.<\/li>\n
  • 8+ years work experience as QS, 5 years of which is in the UAE involving road\/infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of pre and post contract administration.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of FIDIC and CESMM3.<\/li>\n
  • Good oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Experience in Dubai\/Northern Emirates Infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
