Job Description<\/h2>\n

Job Purpose:
Carry out credit reviews across the Corporate Banking to ensure risk exposure is within GB&rsquos appetite for risk.
Accountabilities:<\/p>\n

\n
1. Conduct Credit Analysis and prepare Credit Memorandum <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Ensure correct spreading of financials in the Risk rating System, conduct financial and credit analysis of the borrower and prepare Credit Memorandum in the approved format <\/p>\n

   1. Independent Credit Assessment <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Conduct comprehensive credit assessment of proposals for presentation to Credit Committees. <\/p>\n

      \n
      1. Quality Control<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         Ensure the correctness of the risk rating and conduct quality checks on credit applications to ensure they meet requirements of credit committees, policies, etc.<\/p>\n

         1. Support Industry studies <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Support industry reviews that facilitate delivery of independent credit risk assessments <\/p>\n

            \n
            1. Control reports\/follow-up <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

               Carry out effective follow-up with Relationship Managers on risk related reports\/MIS for allocated accounts.
               Education \/Qualifications:
               Professional Accounting\/Finance\/Banking qualifications
               Knowledge:
               Knowledge of the Banking industry, risk management and all regulations governing the banking business e.g. CBK, Basel II, III, etc
               Experience:
               Up to 4 years of experience in the banking industry, of which at least 2 years in credit or risk management
