Job Purpose:
Carry out credit reviews across the Corporate Divisions (as assigned) to ensure risk exposure is within GB&rsquos appetite for risk.
Accountabilities:<\/p>\n

1. Independent Credit Assessment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Conduct and\/or supervise independent credit risk assessments on applications<\/p>\n

   \n
   1. Quality Control<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Conduct quality checks on credit applications to ensure they meet requirements of credit committees etc.<\/p>\n

      \n
      1. Portfolio reviews\/Monitoring <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         Carry out effective and comprehensive portfolio reviews\/monitoring<\/p>\n

         \n
         1. Proper Risk rating\/Risk classification <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Classify risk across portfolios and applications in line with industry standards and approved policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

            1. Industry Reviews<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

               Conduct industry reviews which support the delivery of independent credit risk assessments<\/p>\n

               \n
               1. RAROC<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Providing RAROC related inputs to Business for evaluation
                  Generic<\/p>\n

                  \n
                  1. Operate Within Approved Risk Appetite <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                     Ensure all credit applications and portfolio management is within approved risk appetite<\/p>\n

                     \n
                     1. Corporate governance<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        corporate governance is complied with at all times<\/p>\n

                        1. Education \/Qualifications:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                           Professional Accounting\/Finance\/Banking qualifications
                           Knowledge:
                           Knowledge of the Banking industry, risk management and all regulations governing the banking business e.g., CBK, Basel III, etc.<\/p>\n

                           \n
                           1. Experience: About 6 years of experience in the banking industry, of which at least 3 years in credit or risk management<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                              \n
