We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor for our carpentry department to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.<\/p>\n
They work within a range of sectors from commercial to residential and new build. If you have experience within any of these areas along with fit out or carpentry\/joinery experience, we would be keen to hear from you. Outstanding quantity surveyors are not only great at analyzing costs, but also know how to read people and tailor their negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome.<\/p>\n

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

Taking quantities from the Drawing<\/li>\n
Preparing the material break up as per site condition<\/li>\n
Invoicing to the clients after receiving the site progress report from respective project manager<\/li>\n
Preparing the variations after getting the complete documentation from site staff<\/li>\n
Correspondence with the project manager regarding the commercial issues<\/li>\n
Correspondence with the finance regarding the commercial issues<\/li>\n
Collecting the information from project manager regarding the work plan<\/li>\n
Joint measurements with Client for final take off<\/li>\n
Material monitoring as per delivery based on provided documents from site<\/li>\n
Handling multiple projects in the same time with set targets<\/li>\n
Updating the information for the estimators about the risks and difficulties found on the executing project<\/li>\n
Site inspection if required at the initial stage of projects<\/li>\n
Filing the documents for future reference<\/li>\n
Preparing Document Log sheet<\/li>\n
Revising the BOM after clients variation approval<\/li>\n
Preparing the scope of work for the subjected variation<\/li>\n
Preparing the terms and conditions based on management instructions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
