A leading Bank in the UAE.
On their behalf we are looking to hire a Senior Technology Engineer (Hadoop Developer) on an extendable 12 month contract basis.
Your Responsibilities<\/p>\n

\n
• 3-4 Years of experience in Hadoop production infrastructure<\/li>\n
• Hands on experience using automation tools like Jenkins, Github action, ArgoCD in Hadoop environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Hands on production experience with:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • HDFS (including usage of storage controllers) and data partitioning.<\/li>\n
  • Spark clusters<\/li>\n
  • Oozie scheduling<\/li>\n
  • HQL<\/li>\n
  • Hive<\/li>\n
  • Hand on experience using automation tools like Jenkins, – Github action, ArgoCD in Hadoop environment<\/li>\n
  • Linux OS configuration and use, including shell scripting.<\/li>\n
  • Experience using RBAC based security controls in Hadoop environment.<\/li>\n
  • Understand basics of Networking including DNS, Proxy and basic troubleshooting.<\/li>\n
  • Compliance and regulatory (handling personal and private information) requirements of data including but not limited to encryption, anonymization, data integrity, policy control features in large scale infrastructures using tools and automation.<\/li>\n
  • Motivated, eager to learn and ability to own and drive things and works collaboratively.<\/li>\n
  • Customer focused – experience creating self-service for platform consumers.<\/li>\n
  • Agile ways of working.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
