UMR Jordan currently has an opening for a full-time, country-based Program officer. The Program officer is responsible for following up on the implementation of projects\u2019 activities with the UMR partners, building capacity of UMR partner staff in addition to field coordination with stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Programs:<\/p>\n

\u25cf Work closely with partners to identify issues and inform evidence-based programming.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Assist in designing and developing activities in different sectors.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Regular follow up with partner focal points on project activities to maintain the quality of implementation.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Identify opportunities and constraints and any adjustments needed, including staff training.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Support implementation of Safety and safeguarding policies with partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Assist partners in writing their monthly reports.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Assist the programs coordinator in analyzing the M&E tools that will be used by partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Provide technical Psycho-social support and set the thematic approach in alignment with UMR programs in Jordan<\/p>\n

\u25cf Assist in developing a sound understanding of UMR\u2019s PSS approaches and best practices and localize content to support effective programming in Jordan<\/p>\n

\u25cf Lead in developing and proposing new services to respond to PSS needs identified in target communities<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Delivery of capacity building:<\/p>\n

\u25cf Assist the programs coordinator in assessing and designing capacity building plans for staff and partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Deliver coaching and monitoring visits, trainings and briefings, including tailored trainings where needed and feasible, to staff and partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Provide ongoing and necessary technical support, guidance and advice to partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Support staff and partners in the development and implementation of partnership checklists and tools.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Build capacity of CBOS and partner\/s staff in fundamental PSS approaches. <\/p>\n

Representation:<\/p>\n

\u25cf Participate when needed in Jordan working groups.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Contribute to the development, adaptation, contextualization of training and information materials.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Share materials, useful and relevant information, including tools and methodologies with partners.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Understanding of rights of people with disabilities (programming) in conflict and post conflict environments<\/p>\n
