Junior Smart Cities Engineer
Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\n
• Supports the team to identify, maintain and prioritize opportunities throughout the region<\/li>\n
• Participates in workshops and meetings to develop client engagement strategies and scope of works<\/li>\n
• Leads and develops material for client engagements such as presentations to clients, scope documents, reviews etc.<\/li>\n
• Provide technical support in the delivery or oversight of smart mobility solutions<\/li>\n
• Supports the team in identifying technology partners or consultancies for opportunities<\/li>\n
• Able to lead or work independently to deliver a package of work of a strategic or technical nature<\/li>\n
• Represent the latest smart mobility innovations to the regional innovation committee<\/li>\n
• Build\/Improve the relationship with the Client by presenting a continuous and consistent behavior towards professionalism, technical expertise and excellence<\/li>\n
• Bring fresh ideas and concepts to existing and future clients and to support Parsons in adopting new approaches to streamline work activities<\/li>\n
• Support marketing and communications activities for publications, thought pieces and representation at conferences and exhibitions<\/li>\n
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate<\/li>\n
• Willing to travel throughout the Middle East and the US<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • 4 year degree in a technology related discipline and preferably a Master's degree<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 2 years experience in technology or transport\/civil infrastructure development projects<\/li>\n
  • Fresh graduates in civil engineering are encouraged to apply<\/li>\n
  • Exposure to Smart City related implementations or demonstrable knowledge of the latest industry trends and innovations would be an added advantage<\/li>\n
  • A background in telecommunication networks is preferred<\/li>\n
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team or to lead an activity independently through to conclusion<\/li>\n
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills<\/li>\n
  • Excellent ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and can work in MS Office<\/li>\n
  • Be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized in different industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
