Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Responsible for the legal support to the other offices (including to the Senior Management of International Wealth Management) in the META region<\/li>\n
• Acting as the GCC representative on the various project initiatives and committees for the META region<\/li>\n
• Responsible for the handling of external counsel (appointments, engagements and control over costs), and acting as a benefit point of liaison between external counsel and the stakeholders<\/li>\n
• Working together with other GCC teams across globally as the case may be e.g. provide support to the GC Litigation team on local litigation cases, complaints and liaising with local counsel<\/li>\n
• Advising the shared services departments on the relevant local laws, such as employment laws, data protection laws, leasing matters, and give support to the COO on corporate governance and corporate secretarial matter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  The Successful Applicant<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • LL.B. and\/or LL.M. from a reputable University, qualified lawyer with in-house banking and finance experience, as well as private practice experience<\/li>\n
  • At least 7 years of PQE, local META experience in banking and finance<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in English, and a good command of written and spoken Arabic<\/li>\n
