Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Transport Modeler\/Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to carry out travel demand modeling as well as conduct operational analysis using standard techniques and packages.
What You'll Be Doing:<\/p>\n

\n
• Carries out travel demand modeling using packages including CUBE, VISUM<\/li>\n
• Conducts operational analysis using standard techniques and packages such as SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, VISSIM<\/li>\n
• Conducts traffic survey data collection and analysis<\/li>\n
• Develops and analyses mitigation measures for transportation impact and transportation master plan studies<\/li>\n
• Supports the preparation and review of traffic study reports<\/li>\n
• Works closely with related teams by providing data and technical support as needed<\/li>\n
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer\/Drafters, Designers working on the same project<\/li>\n
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate<\/li>\n
• Support the development of junior traffic engineers in collaboration with the Leadership Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering civil or transportation engineering<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 4 years experience in traffic operations and analysis of various traffic projects<\/li>\n
  • Good understanding of Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning and Traffic Modelling<\/li>\n
  • Hands on experience in using software's including VISUM and VISSIM in addition to SYNCHRO, SIDRA, & HCS<\/li>\n
  • Through knowledge of conducting Traffic Impact Studies (TIS), Transport Masterplans (TMP), Road Corridor Studies, Design-Build Studies, especially in Dubai and KSA<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work under pressure to fulfill project deadlines is essential, as is willingness to take on project delivery and client engagement responsibilities<\/li>\n
  • Highly motivated, with excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, and be open to new challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What Desired Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

    • Masters in Transportation<\/li>\n
    • Ability to use Microsoft Excel tools, such as VBA, for numerical and analytical tasks<\/li>\n
    • Participate in strategizing, writing, and reviewing proposals and engage in Business Development meetings as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
