Company Profile:
Our client is a leading international engineering practice in Qatar, offering services in architecture, interior design, master planning, landscape, urban design and building consultancy within Asia & Middle East.
They are currently looking to recruita Senior Commercial Manager to be based in Qatar.
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\n
• Preparing tenders for clients and commercial bids to help bring in new business<\/li>\n
• Developing and presenting project proposals<\/li>\n
• Meeting with clients to find out their requirements<\/li>\n
• Producing plans and estimating budgets and timescales<\/li>\n
• Discussing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating the terms of business contracts<\/li>\n
• Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients<\/li>\n
• Managing construction schedules and budgets<\/li>\n
• Dealing with any unexpected costs<\/li>\n
• Attending site meetings to monitor progress<\/li>\n
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers<\/li>\n
• Working with third parties to ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities<\/li>\n
• Making sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards<\/li>\n
• Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and the client's own representatives<\/li>\n
• Overseeing invoicing at the end of a project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications & Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Minimum of 10years post graduate experience.<\/li>\n
  • Preference will be given to candidates with roads, structures or rail related experience.<\/li>\n
  • Professionally qualified in MRICS or equivalent is preferable.<\/li>\n
  • Must be currently in Qatar<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrable track record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects.<\/li>\n
  • University degree from a recognised university in an appropriate field such as Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or equivalent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
