Responsibilities<\/h4>\n

Design, implement and administer security appliances such as firewalls, intrusion detection\/prevention systems, email gateways, etc.<\/h4>\n

Administer security policy on all security appliances<\/h4>\n

Aid in identifying the best ways to implement security controls and requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts<\/h4>\n

Provide advice and guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards.<\/h4>\n

Investigate security incidents, recommend appropriate recovery and restore options, and implement approved solutions.<\/h4>\n

Provide technical support needed to establish security requirements for new and existing networked environments.<\/h4>\n

Provide network security feedback on proposed systems architecture and infrastructure decisions.<\/h4>\n

Proactively analyze network security risk and actionable remediation steps. Effectively communicate results to different stakeholders<\/h4>\n

Qualifications<\/h4>\n

A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field<\/h4>\n

At least 6 years of hands-on experience serving as network security engineer<\/h4>\n

Professional certification in advanced network security from reputable organization is a must. Examples include CISSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, and CND.<\/h4>\n

Excellent knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.<\/h4>\n

Strong experience designing, implementing, and administrating firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN gateways, email gateways, etc.<\/h4>\n

Deep understanding of what constitutes a network attack and a network attack\u2019s relationship to both threats and vulnerabilities. Strong experience in network traffic analysis is a must.<\/h4>\n

Working knowledge of network traffic analysis (tools, methodologies, processes)<\/h4>\n

Working knowledge of host\/network access control mechanisms using different technology<\/h4>\n

Proficient in scripting and declarative languages is a plus such as Python, and Bash<\/h4>\n

Very good understanding of cloud technologies and best practices securing cloud deployments on major CSP\u2019s such as GCP, AWS<\/h4>\n

Previous experience with SIEM, SOAR, penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools is considered an advantage<\/h4>\n

Very good command of English language; speaking, writing, and reading<\/h4>\n

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences at different levels<\/h4>\n
