The opportunity<\/strong>
Project: <\/strong>A world-class resort project located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This unique project will be the first of its kind in the UAE and is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager.
This key role will report to the zone area lead and MEP associate director, the position will be full-time and based on-site in the Ras Al Khaimah project office. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to deliver high-end hospitality projects.
Responsible for all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scope of works (design and construction) on a major project from concept to project completion.
Your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Reviewing of consultant and contractor designs. <\/li>\n
• Providing input into all aspects of the procurement process including preparation of briefs and bid documentation, prequalification of consultants\/ contractors, and the bid\/ appointment process. <\/li>\n
• Providing input into the development of the MEP schedule and reviewing contractor submissions. <\/li>\n
• Managing technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and utility providers. <\/li>\n
• Reviewing of pre-construction documentation provided by the contractor including shop drawings, material\/ equipment submittals and samples, quality plans, and method statements. <\/li>\n
• Reviewing of construction progress including programme and quality control\/ auditing <\/li>\n
• Reviewing of all testing and commissioning activities and liaison with the independent commissioning authority. <\/li>\n
• Dealing with the development of project MEP close-out strategy and review of documentation such as record drawings and O&M manuals provided by the contractor. <\/li>\n
• Supporting the commercial team in the valuation of works, change control, or claims. <\/li>\n
• Assisting in the production of project reports. <\/li>\n
• Reporting project zone area lead and MEP director. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  About you<\/strong>
  You hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering a minimum of 10 to 15 years of industry experience and have held a similar role for at least 3 years discipline-specific professional registration preferred (CIBSE, IMechE, MEIT, PMI), you will manage and supervise others effectively, Lead MEP team on a major project have the ability to manage multiple MEP works packages in parallel you have in-depth knowledge of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
