This is a unique opportunity to impact the Startup industry by enabling the application of transformative technology at the intersection of leading startups and major finance and banking industry players.
Startupbootcamp (Rainmaking Company) is hiring a Community Manager to manage the accelerator program based in Amman, Jordan, and Beirut, Lebanon. The program is backed by leading institutions in UAE, Kuwait, and KSA.
We\u2019re looking for someone who ticks as many of the following boxes as possible:
– You are a great match with our strong and value-driven culture (see below)
– You have 3 – 7 years of experience working with startups, growth companies and\/or in the corporate world. Preferably a mix of both startup and corporate experience
– You have experience supporting programs such as accelerators, corporate incubators, innovation programs or startup challenges
– You've interacted with founders, investors, and with corporate executives
– You are organized, action- and service-oriented
– You are a self-starter with a focus on execution and speed
– You have developed networking and communication skills
– You have excellent business development skills and a high degree of commercial understanding and cultural sensitivity
– Manage events and the Startupbootcamp Startup community in MENA.
– Assist the Operations Manager and Program Director in relation to events and community building.
– Help engage and accelerate startups.
– Attract startups.
– Manage all social media channels
– Run relevant events, including Hackathons, Lounge events, Mentor days, FastTrack days, Selection days, Demo days, etc.
– Prepare relevant reporting.
– Ensure proper admin of events.
– Responsible to deliver the following events (including planning for all events, with timeline management.
– The Community Manager is responsible for creating detailed playbooks, including local and regional contacts, to ensure a high quality of delivery)
– Alumni Support for the Startupbootcamp graduates.
