Overview \/ Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Wood in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a PMC Site HSE Engineer to be based on one of ADNOC group of company projects. Successful candidate must perform below duties;<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
• Conversant with the company\u2019s HSSE Policies and commitments for compliance, pollution prevention and continual improvement of HSSE performance.<\/li>\n
• Provide support and guidance in the development and implementation of HSE MS and identifying opportunities for enhancement. <\/li>\n
• Provide expert advise on HSE Issues related to the projects day-to-day operations.<\/li>\n
• Monitor and report on the Main Contractors HSE performance. <\/li>\n
• Support HSE audits and studies as required.<\/li>\n
• Advising on incident \/ accident prevention measures <\/li>\n
• Assist the Contractor in developing and implementing HSE improvements<\/li>\n
• Participate in the production of the Project Health, Safety and Environmental risk registers. <\/li>\n
• Ensure that the results of inspections, audits and actions identified from accident investigations are followed-up to ensure their timely closure. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Skills \/ Qualifications<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Minimum BSc in Engineering or Safety<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 10 years experience<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 8 years experience in the oil and gas, refining and petrochemical industries<\/li>\n
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the designation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
