About this role:<\/p>\n

\n
• Supervises surveys and data recording of routine and non routine maintenance requirements for field works\/structures carried out by technicians\/foremen via testing equipment or visual inspection<\/li>\n
• Interprets and identifies remedial measures and repair works to be carried out for field civil building works and structures at company<\/li>\n
• Directly responsible for the site supervision of routine and non routine maintenance work and remedial measures and modification of field civil works and structures<\/li>\n
• Supervises and controls collection of data, preparation of sketches and drawings necessary for preparing the Bill of Quantities and history data sheets<\/li>\n
• Supervises and controls collection of data, acquisition of drawings, tender documents and preparation of Site Engineer supervision reports and minutes of site meetings during construction or maintenance periods. Retrieves, compiles and analyses collected data and documents to prepare history data sheets for maintenance works carried out<\/li>\n
• Monitors Contractors equipment, repairing methods, materials and project Quality Control<\/li>\n
• Assist in preparation of tender documents to carry out remedial and maintenance works of field civil works\/structures and minor modification works<\/li>\n
• Receives Works Orders and requests written or verbally from the Head of General Services<\/li>\n
• Conduct Punch listing of new building facilities within assisted areas<\/li>\n
• Receive and distribute work order requests to Maintenance Contractor<\/li>\n
• Prepare and update the equipment database for all building maintenance and services woks within company<\/li>\n
• Required to have in-depth technical knowledge in civil maintenance to resolve day to day technical issues and related maintenance issues<\/li>\n
• Require good negotiation skills to ensure effective accomplishment of desired results from discussions with Contractors, Consultants and discipline engineers resolving any disputes that may arise<\/li>\n
• Accountable for establishing maintenance frequencies and repair check off lists<\/li>\n
• Maintaining equipment records for interpretation of recordings\/readings obtained from equipment and for proposing maintenance routines<\/li>\n
• Accountable for all action and decisions initiated by him to meet targets and goals as defined.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What you need to bring:<\/p>\n

  • Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • A University graduate in Civil Engineering. Good knowledge of written and oral English<\/li>\n
  • Minimum Experience:<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • 8 years experience in Civil and Building construction, preferably in the Oil and Gas environment<\/li>\n
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office applications and its updates<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of International Civil Engineering and Safety Standards<\/li>\n
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of Quality Management principles and practices<\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge in planning and maintenance activities<\/li>\n
  • Computer literate in mainstream Office products, having had exposure to on line management, document and maintenance systems including SAP<\/li>\n
  • Required Skills:<\/strong><\/li>\n
