CAD Draftsman
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Responsibilities: <\/p>\n

\n
• Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare Roads and Highway engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, etc., from rough sketches and\/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Utilizes technical manuals and directives to ensure compliance with codes and company policies.<\/li>\n
• Becomes familiar with various Abu Dhabi standards and codes<\/li>\n
• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.<\/li>\n
• Understands how to read orthographic (2D) and\/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier\/manufacturer drawings.<\/li>\n
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum four years demonstrable experience in the drafting experience on Highways and Transportation projects.<\/li>\n
  • Must have experience on the use of AutoCAD and highly preferably civil 3D. Good Command in MicroStation is considered as an added criteria.<\/li>\n
  • Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with good capability in oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
