Under the general guidance and supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Hotel Nurse provides medical services for all employees and guests in accordance with Hotel Policies and Procedures, and established medical practices.
\u2022\u2003Provide primary health service to all colleagues
\u2022\u2003Assess colleagues visiting the Hotel and Accommodation Clinic and give primary nursing care or arrange Doctor\u2019s consult if needed
\u2022\u2003Assist the doctor and perform doctor\u2019s orders done in the Hotel Clinic
\u2022\u2003Provide First Aid when the need arise in the Hotel and Accommodation
\u2022\u2003Arrange medical referrals and ambulance transport for emergency cases
\u2022\u2003Maintain the records of daily and weekly statistics of colleagues\u2019 clinic visits
\u2022\u2003Implement and maintain all administration regarding health care, sick leave documentation and medical filing for all employees.
\u2022\u2003Maintain hygiene of the clinic and its equipment
\u2022\u2003Ensure that all Oman Municipality and Health Authority requirements are strictly followed
\u2022\u2003Ensure Health Card records for all required colleagues are kept up to date
\u2022\u2003Assist colleagues when work related injuries arise from seeking medical care until workmen\u2019s compensation claim
\u2022\u2003Promote\/organize health and safety practices and programs
\u2022\u2003Purchase the adequate quantity of medical supplies from official supplies
\u2022\u2003Prepare expense reports for medical expenses, official taxi bills and claim reimbursements
\u2022\u2003Timely refill of First Aid Boxes so they are adequately stocked
\u2022\u2003A graduate of Bachelor\u2019s degree in Nursing and a Registered Nurse is mandatory.
\u2022\u2003Attested diploma\/degree certificate
\u2022\u20031-2 years' related experience the hospitality sector and similar property is preferred.
\u2022\u2003Previous GCC experience is required.
\u2022\u2003Display of comprehensive computer skills.
\u2022\u2003Well trained and skilled on the usage of medical equipment.
\u2022\u2003Must be well acquainted with the emergency medical procedures.
\u2022\u2003Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, Health & Safety aspects.<\/p>\n
