A EHS and Security Coordinator <\/p>\n

\n
• Collaborates with management to develop, prepare, and implement safety and security policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Coordinates the safety and security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.<\/li>\n
• Evaluates the effectiveness of safety and security programs.<\/li>\n
• Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.<\/li>\n
• Submits recommendations for improvements and additions to the safety management program including emergency preparedness, accident prevention, general safety, and risk management.<\/li>\n
• Stops operations and activities that could harm staff or equipment.<\/li>\n
• Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.<\/li>\n
• Shares environmental safety information with appropriate levels in the organization.<\/li>\n
• Performs other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What are we looking for<\/p>\n

  • Excellent supervisory skills.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency preparedness.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to conduct training.<\/li>\n
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • At least five years of safety and\/or security experience required.<\/li>\n
    • Advanced training or certification in safety and security preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.<\/li>\n
      • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.<\/li>\n
      • Ability to travel throughout facility as required to conduct safety inspection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
