  \u25cf Brainstorm with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our large and growing user base. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Produce high-quality results by leading and contributing heavily to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the business. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Actively own features or systems and define their long-term health, while also improving the health of other systems.<\/p>\n

  \u25cf Assist our skilled support team and operations team in resolving production issues. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Write well-structured and documented code.<\/p>\n

  \u25cf Mentoring and coaching less experienced\/skilled team members. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Be hands-on while mentoring junior team members by way of code reviews, pair programming exercises, and continuous feedback. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes.<\/p>\n

  \u25cf Turn ideas into code: branch, write, commit, repeat. <\/p>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  <\/p>\n

  \u25cf 5-10 years of experience. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Experience with functional and OOP languages e.g. PHP, Python, Javascript\/Typescript, Node, and React. \u25cf Write understandable, testable code, with an eye towards maintainability. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Ability to build something from nothing. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Proficiency with command line tools, specially in a Linux-based environment. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Proven understanding of Git and common CI\/CD practices. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Experience with containerized applications using: Docker or Kubernetes. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Solid foundational knowledge of HTML\/CSS. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Strong understanding of web applications security principles and best practices. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Experience working in a distributed and cloud-based environment e.g. (AWS). <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Experience in microservice architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful services.<\/p>\n

  \u25cf Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, and NoSQL like MongoDB. <\/p>\n

  \u25cf Strong familiarity with agile development processes: Scrum or Kanban<\/p>\n
