CRDF Global is recruiting an experienced Controller reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the organization\u2019s accounting function, including General Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. The Controller should have relevant nonprofit accounting, finance knowledge, and experience. • Enforces and maintains policies\/controls and develops procedures to deliver organizational requirements<\/li>\n
• Plans and supports the execution of goals and objectives; accountable for the team\u2019s performance<\/li>\n
• Recruits, supervises, develops, and retains staff<\/li>\n
• Provides organizational training on use of tools and systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  General Accounting<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Supports the CFO with Committee and Board preparation<\/li>\n
  • Leads preparation for annual external and internal audits; interacts with auditors, manages field work and subsequent negotiations<\/li>\n
  • Prepares and leads preparation of tax filing requirements (federal and state)<\/li>\n
  • Prepares monthly financial statements<\/li>\n
  • Analyzes monthly ledger activity and closes month- and year-end<\/li>\n
  • Analyzes the impact for changes in accounting and federal regulations on the organization<\/li>\n
  • Ensures integrity of Costpoint General Ledger, Subledgers, and Time & Expense<\/li>\n
  • Ensures Financial and Regulatory compliance U.S. GAAP and Uniform Guidance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Payments<\/p>\n

    • Ensures resources, training, and tools are adequate to support the Payments function<\/li>\n
    • Manages banking and vendor relationships<\/li>\n
    • Measures and tracks customer satisfaction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Payroll<\/p>\n

      • Ensures resources, training, and tools are adequate to support the Payroll function<\/li>\n
      • Measures and tracks customer satisfaction<\/li>\n
      • Partners with HR department on benefits administration, 403(b) and related audit, deductions, and compensation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Qualifications:<\/p>\n

        \n
        • Licensed CPA required<\/li>\n
        • Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience in Finance or Accounting including experience managing and developing senior-level staff<\/li>\n
        • 5+ previous years\u2019 experience as a Controller<\/li>\n
        • Minimum 5 years nonprofit and\/or U.S. government contracting experience<\/li>\n
        • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance or Accounting<\/li>\n
        • Knowledge of Costpoint highly preferred<\/li>\n
        • Experience managing financial systems<\/li>\n
        • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills<\/li>\n
        • Previous audit experience<\/li>\n
        • Experience in international program activities, a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
