Job Description
The Universe Specialist is responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and assisting the Universe Manager in the effective running of the Universe in order to ensure the highest standards of customer service are achieved and maintained.<\/p>\n

\n
• Control merchandising of products in order to optimize sales and ensure it is in line with brand image and standards<\/li>\n
• Greet customers, offer assistance and serve them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards<\/li>\n
• Communicate sales plans and targets to the Universe team, monitor performance on an on-going basis and suggest corrective actions to hierarchy when needed<\/li>\n
• Assign routine and non-routine tasks to Sales Associates, Cashiers and Coordinators and assist in preparing the staff schedule in order to ensure that activities are carried out in the most efficient manner<\/li>\n
• Benchmark prices with the competition and recommend price modifications in order to maintain competitiveness<\/li>\n
• Support the Universe Manager in maintaining inventories and placing product orders to ensure effective stock management and availability of products<\/li>\n
• Motivate team members and provide them with the necessary support in terms of training and development in order to optimize sales results<\/li>\n
• Watch for and prevent security risks and thefts, and escalate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss<\/li>\n
• Handle other related activities such as controlling the process of shipments reception, carrying out the end-of-day closing of the shop, collecting and reporting customers and staff comments to the Manager and other<\/li>\n
• Monitor and identify bestselling items, limited editions and non-moving products on a weekly basis, and report on them to the hierarchy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications<\/p>\n

  • Bachelor&rsquos Degree<\/li>\n
  • Active participation in at least one sporting activity and good knowledge of sporting products as well as of sporting events<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in MS Office<\/li>\n
  • Fluency in English<\/li>\n

  • Active participation in at least one sporting activity and expert knowledge of sporting events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
