Project background<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Oxfam in partnership with GGGI are implementing a project in Za\u2019atari Refugee Camp and in the hosting communities in Mafraq aimed at piloting a circular economy model where resource efficiency can be achieved at the household and community levels.<\/p>\n

The project will target 1,000 households in Za\u2019atari Refugee Camp and 200 households in the hosting communities in Mafraq. These households will be participating in a pilot scheme whereby organic waste will be collected and compost will be produced and where greywater will be extracted. Both resources will be used to test the effectiveness of resource efficiency and resource use within these communities.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Tools are defined based on the objectives and project\u2019s logical framework, and in close cooperation with the project teams <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

2. Process and Plan of Mobilization for <\/strong>Data collectors<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Data collectors will be responsible for data collection through digital tools to be provided by Oxfam<\/li>\n
• Data collectors will do the data collection through Face-to-Face individual interviews and\/or phone calls (if required)<\/li>\n
• Data collectors will use a safe, confidential, and private space to conduct interviews<\/li>\n
• The work will require field travel (in Mafraq)<\/li>\n
• Throughout the period, the data collectors will share their experience and receive feedback from Oxfam\u2019s project team and MEAL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

3. Briefing by Oxfam <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Brief required to be conducted<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

• Data collectors will receive an induction of Oxfam values, Code of Conduct (COC) and relevant internal policies <\/li>\n
• Data collectors will receive and full brief on the project, so they are able to communicate with beneficiaries with a proper background of the project<\/li>\n
• Data collectors will receive a training session on how to use the digital tool (SurveyCTO is the data collection tool) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Data collectors will commit to abide by Oxfam\u2019s ethical standards or provide evidence of equivalent institutional standard where the successful applicant is a research institute with its own established standards.<\/li>\n
• Data collectors\u2019 policy and COC will be briefed and then signed by data collectors to ensure the proper understanding<\/li>\n
• Specific ethical standards apply regarding data collection on SGBV protection and potentially with survivors. In particular, ensuring confidentiality will be paramount. Informed consent will be systematically required for any interview and data maintained with all safeguarding measures appropriate. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
