Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.<\/li>\n
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.<\/li>\n
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.<\/li>\n
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.<\/li>\n
• Provide technical support and advice on Management Accountant<\/li>\n
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers.<\/li>\n
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.<\/li>\n
• Provide input into department\u2019s goal setting process.<\/li>\n
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule.<\/li>\n
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.<\/li>\n
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance.<\/li>\n
• Plan, assign and review staff\u2019s work.<\/li>\n
• Support month-end and year-end close process<\/li>\n
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.<\/li>\n
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.<\/li>\n
• Liaise with our Financial Manager and Accounting Manager to improve financial procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirement & Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant.<\/li>\n
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.<\/li>\n
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).<\/li>\n
  • Awareness of business trends.<\/li>\n
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end\/year-end close process.<\/li>\n
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks<\/li>\n
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP\u2019s and pivot tables.<\/li>\n
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.<\/li>\n
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.<\/li>\n
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
