NEF is a non-profit international development organization that has supported livelihoods recovery and community-based economic development in the Middle East, Africa, and Caucasus since 1915. NEF draws on local teams, experience, and partnerships in these regions to create community-led solutions to improve livelihoods and local governance among conflict and crisis-affected groups, while maintaining neutrality and ensuring inclusiveness in our approach. Working through a network of country offices and local partners, NEF has operations in ten countries: Armenia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Mali, Morocco, Palestine, Sudan, South Sudan, and Syria. Our programs are organized around three pillars: Inclusive Economic Development, Climate-resilient Development, and Stabilization and Peacebuilding<\/p>\n Main duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 Supervise and evaluate activities of program and the field work;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Supervise and manage a team of volunteers to ensure project activities are implemented as outlined in proposal;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Assign tasks to staff members and Volunteers and provide follow up and guidance;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Contribute to establishing and implementing operational work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans per activities\/trainings in direct coordination with head office and partners;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Maintain continuous line of communication with country-office on daily basis;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Ensure smooth exchange of information respectively between partners and volunteers\u2019 program, beneficiaries, and the community;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Provide technical support as needed;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Contribute in ongoing field assessments and data collection and entry as\/when required;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Ensure that data is accurately collected, entered, and shared on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Provide information and advice for beneficiaries and walk ins in the Siraj center on existing services;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Collaborate with partners and other agencies when required;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Compile relevant information on available services in assigned location;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Plan, coordinate and facilitate distribution of materials when needed;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Maintain records, reports problems or concerns to country office and partners;<\/p>\n \u00b7 Support other project activities as needed.<\/p>\n Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00b7 University degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant degree.<\/p>\n \u00b7 1-3 years\u2019 experience in a similar role with an INGO<\/p>\n \u00b7 Strong capacity in reporting<\/p>\n \u00b7 Strong understanding of the project management cycle.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.<\/p>\n \u00b7 Good team spirit<\/p>\n \u00b7 Familiar with the cultural, socio-economic and political environment in the relevant districts.<\/p>\n Position Criteria: <\/strong><\/p>\n NEF will accept a rolling application until the position is filled.
