  WFP\u2019s emergency response in Yemen is one of the agency\u2019s largest anywhere in the world, and this year aims to provide lifesaving food assistance to more than 13 million people in need. WFP also aims to provide nutrition support to more than 4 million children and women, school feeding to more than 3 million schoolchildren, and livelihoods support to 2 million people.<\/em><\/p>\n

  ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT<\/h2>\n

  These jobs are found in Regional Bureaux (RBs), Country Offices (COs), Area\/Field Offices (AOs\/FOs). Job holders typically report to a Programme Policy Officer or Head of Field Office. At this level, job holders are expected to demonstrate responsibility and initiative to respond independently to various queries with only general guidance. There is a requirement to use judgment in dealing with unforeseen operational problems on a daily basis. Job holders are expected to manage resources and coach and coordinate support staff.<\/p>\n

  JOB PURPOSE<\/h2>\n

  To provide effective specialized support and technical analyses to policy and programme activities that effectively meet food assistance needs.<\/p>\n

  Background information<\/h2>\n

  Identity management is a core component of the design and implementation of effective and efficient Programme activities, this includes the processes of beneficiary identification, registration, and beneficiary data update, up to ensuring the readiness of quality data for enrolment and prioritization when needed.<\/p>\n

  Accountabilities<\/h2>\n

  The registration field coordinator associate will technically and administratively report to the Head of Registration & Registry unit manager at Aden area office level. At this level, the incumbent is expected to lead, demonstrate responsibility and initiative to respond independently to projects\u2019 activities at field level with minimum guidance and effectively coordinate with the cooperating partners field activities\u2019 during updating \/ collection of individuals\u2019 and households\u2019 information as per the operational requirements.<\/p>\n

  The incumbent will be responsible for the following:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Coordinate and work closely with authorities, cooperating partners, and internal affiliated business units to ensure registration, beneficiary data update and targeting activities are carried out in harmonization across all involved stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Lead the inclusion of registration and targeting activities, scope of work, and budget in the field level agreements FLAs with cooperating partners.<\/li>\n
  • Supervise technical support and assist in the development and implementation of various activities and processes within the specific scope of work supporting & alignment with wider registration policies and guidelines.<\/li>\n
  • Deliver specialized project coordination support to defined registration locations to ensure that the various registration and targeting activities are performed within the established objectives following WFP\u2019s policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Within the explicit area of responsibility, prepare a range of reports and data analysis (e.g. Field assessment reports, registration progresses, resource utilization, risk management tracking reports) and highlight trends\/issues ensuring deliverables adhere to corporate standards and data quality control.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure and\/or perform accurate, timely recording of data within the precise technical area of work (e.g. lesson learnt r, progress reports and key performance indicators) and consistency of information presented to all stakeholders.<\/li>\n
    • Lead and Coaches team in the most effective ways to communicate WFP\u2019s Strategic Objectives to WFP team and partners in the field.<\/li>\n
    • Oversee and\/or review the work of other registration staff, providing practical advice and guidance, to contribute to delivering objectives to agreed standards and deadlines. <\/li>\n
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • WFP staff at Aden Area Office and field offices including external stakeholders involved in registration and targeting phases are adequately aligned in project objectives and given guidance on relevant business procedures on registry management. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Field activities are well coordinated and results in smooth registration processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • A full set of documentation (SOP, mapping business processes, project guidelines, communication materials etc..) that defines the approach, methodologies and tools being used for registration are well implemented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • Understanding and applies basic principles of engagement with different stakeholders and government counterparts at the national or local level. <\/li>\n
            • Demonstrates ability to identify key variables and contextual factors that affects registration and targeting challenges throughout the data lifecycle to inform quality programme design based in specific criteria\u2019s indicators.<\/li>\n
            • Good knowledge and practical experience in use of information technology tools for the reporting, graphics, and visualizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<\/h2>\n

              Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate (university degree in Information Technology, Social Science, statistics, computer science, project management, finance, and economics) is desirable. <\/em><\/p>\n

              Language: Proficiency (read\/ write\/ speak) in English & Arabic<\/em> <\/p>\n

              Experience: Minimum Six years of experience in the overall related responsibilities.<\/em><\/p>\n
