The role:
Act as the key advisor to the asset teams on all data platform deployments and data
migrations to cloud as part of the cloud & data transformation
Support the assets in developing data related initiatives including data strategy, data
management, data classification, data governance, data protection, etc.
Collaborate with asset teams to ensure alignment with the defined data governance model,
data residency requirements, and cloud security standards and guidelines
Support the assets in developing data architectures that enable efficient data gathering, storage, retrieval, processing, and advanced analytics capabilities across cloud services
Document processes related to data architecture design, configuration, and performance
Work closely with asset business stakeholders to understand the details of the asset data governance requirements and its impact on the transformation.
Essential Experience:
10+ years experience in Data Management\/Data Architecture role
Solid hands-on expertise in multiple data platforms, data analytics capabilities, and data governance services of major Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Working knowledge of data strategy, data architecture, data protection, data governance, and other data management related activities
Experience in managing Cloud\/IT\/Data governance policies and standards
Strong understanding of local risk and compliance requirements, and relevant data laws an
regulations impacting data hosting on Public Cloud
