1. Documentation Knowledge:<\/strong>Thorough knowledge of document requirements for Import and Export into UAE by Air and Sea. This includes working knowledge of formats and preparation of Invoice, Packing List, Delivery
Advice, Certificate of Origin, MOFAIC attestations<\/p>\n

2. Agent Coordination:<\/strong> Coordinate with Overseas Agents to undertake their DAP and DDP shipments by Air and Sea arriving into the UAE. This includes checking pre-alerts for imports & all commercial documentation, consignee preparedness and understand delivery requirements.<\/p>\n

3. Sea Shipment Arrivals:<\/strong>
(a)<\/strong> Arrange the collection of delivery orders from shipping lines by coordinating with messengers and liaising with the finance team to facilitate payment release.
(b)<\/strong> Knowledge about issuance of DO through Dubai Trade Portal.<\/p>\n

4. Air Shipment Arrivals:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Working knowledge of issuance of Delivery Order through Dnata Calogi portal or manually (if required)<\/p>\n

5. HS Code Knowledge:<\/strong>
(a) Working knowledge of how to identify HS codes and understand customs document requirements (including government approvals) for imports & exports into Freezones & UAE mainland.
(b) GCC wide awareness – SASO, KUCAS etc is preferred (not mandatory)<\/p>\n

6. Customer Coordination:<\/strong> Communicate with consignees and set delivery plans.<\/p>\n

7. Letter Preparations:<\/strong> Knowledge & practical experience in preparing letters to issue to Shipping lines, DNATA & Airlines to facilitate in obtaining DOs, or other import & export process.<\/p>\n

8. Short Landing & Other Unexpected Issues:<\/strong> Practical knowledge in resolving issues related to cargo short landing, pilferages, container shut outs & roll over, container damage, demurrage & other unexpected operations disruptions & cost escalations in Sea & Air Shipments.<\/p>\n

9. Transport Coordination:<\/strong> Coordinate with the transport department to plan deliveries based on client expectations.<\/p>\n

10. Sea Shipment Exports:<\/strong> Handle the export shipment cycle entirely from shipment confirmation to shipment sailing. This includes – including SI Submissions, BL draft confirmations and ensure all cut-offs are met by closely coordinating with customers.<\/p>\n
