In Turkiye On 06.02.2023, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 centered in Pazarc\u0131k and 7.6 centered in Elbistan occurred in Kahramanmara\u015f province. After the earthquakes, 11,020 aftershocks occurred. RBC Risk management team was called for support in the emergency through the creation of an emergency risk register and other tools that can support the CO in the mitigation of the emergency impact. A recommendation which was accepted by Turkiye CO management is to have a 3 to 6 months dedicated risk officer on TDY to support in the assessment of the CO risks and enhance the CO risk maturity.<\/p>\n

Experience: Typically five years of relevant progressively responsible experience in leading, undertaking and\/or contributing to risk management activities, including assessing and recommending effective internal controls and mitigation actions, in various organizations that use modern enterprise risk management frameworks, techniques and systems.<\/p>\n
Language: Fluency (level C) in English language. Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official UN language: Arabic& Turkish preferred.<\/p>\n
