Domestic travel, occasionally overnight, outside of Amman is expected of the Employee. The Employee confirms that they are amenable to such travel, the specifics of which will be determined by IRI and with the Employee\u2019s consent<\/p>\n

Position Description<\/p>\n

.The Program Officer (PO) is responsible for implementing elements of IRI\u2019s grant-funded program(s). S\/he is responsible for planning and implementing activities within assigned elements of the program. S\/he monitors funder-required indicators, project documentation, and budgets. S\/he closely monitors and analyzes political and economic developments in Jordan. S\/he also develops and maintains working relationships with stakeholders, beneficiaries, and contractors related to his\/her portfolio.<\/p>\n

Duties<\/p>\n

Program and Financial Management<\/em><\/p>\n

\n
• Track work plans to meet program objectives, with oversight and direction from the Project Manager (PM) and expatriate management team.<\/li>\n
• Backstop program activities, including but not limited to maintaining activity timelines, ensuring meeting documentation and activity reports are sufficient, materials are provided in a timely manner to stakeholders, and activities stay within budgetary requirements. <\/li>\n
• Mobilize program participants, the media, and stakeholders for events and program activities. <\/li>\n
• Contribute to activity budgeting and spending forecasts.<\/li>\n
• Contribute to relevant procurement tools and resulting contracts and sub-awards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Maintain records of program results as per relevant monitoring and evaluation guidance.<\/li>\n
  • Implement program monitoring and evaluation plans with direction from the management team and PM.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in regular sessions with program teams on collaborative learning and adaptive management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
