Acted Syria<\/h2>\n

Since 2012, Acted has been implementing projects with vulnerable communities in Syria with a two-fold approach: Acted provides life-saving support to vulnerable displaced persons, returnees, and host communities across Syria, through multi-sectorial rapid emergency services, and implements a wide range of resilience building interventions. Thus, Acted has been able to strengthen its links with Syrian local communities and to develop an in-depth knowledge of local dynamics. A team of 900+ is currently working in Syria.<\/p>\n

You will be in charge of<\/h2>\n

The Project Coordinator ensures all projects in his\/her sector run in a smooth and cost-efficient manner and in compliance with Acted \u2019s and donors\u2019 procedures and legal requirements.<\/p>\n

    Expected skills and qualifications<\/h2>\n

    \n
    • At least four years of field experience in program management and coordination<\/li>\n
    • Demonstrated communication and organizational skills
      Ability to train, mobilize, and manage experienced staff;<\/li>\n
    • Flexibility and ability to multi-task under pressure;<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work well in unstable and frequently changing security environments;<\/li>\n
    • Willingness to work and live in often remote areas under basic conditions;<\/li>\n
    • Proven ability to work creatively and independently both in the field and in the office;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Conditions<\/h2>\n

      \n
      • Salary between 3200 and 3400\u20ac monthly (before income tax), depending on the level of education, security level, etc as well as a monthly living allowance of $300<\/li>\n
      • Accommodation and food provided in Acted guesthouse<\/li>\n
      • Pension, health insurance, life insurance and repatriation assistance (& unemployment insurance for EU citizens)<\/li>\n
      • Flight tickets every 6 months & visa fees covered<\/li>\n
      • Contribution to the luggage transportation: up to 100 kgs, depending on the length of the contract<\/li>\n
      • R&R every 3 months, flight tickets covered up to $500 and allowance of $200<\/li>\n
      • Annual leave of 25 to 43 days per year<\/li>\n
      • One week pre-departure training in Acted HQ, including a 4-days in situ security training<\/li>\n
      • Tax advice (free 30-minute call with a tax consultant)<\/li>\n
      • Psychological assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
