Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

The candidate will be responsible for the overall operations of the Centre including (and not limited to):<\/p>\n

enrolment, revenues, ensuring proper and effective documentation of expenses and revenue, staff management and program development initiatives.<\/p>\n

Her duties will also include and are not limited to the responsibilities outlined below.<\/p>\n

\n
• Provide mentoring, coaching and professional development regularly and as appropriate to meet the individual professional needs of staff and to comply with regulatory standards.<\/li>\n
• General knowledge of UAE Federal Law No. 5 of 1983 in respect of Nursery Establishments, and the standards guidelines and policies of relevant education authorities (MOE, KHDA, FAEE and DHA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Follow the DHA & center\u2019s Health & Safety practices to maintain a safe and clean work environment, and be proactive in matters of health, safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    \n
    • Develop and maintain effective systems of program planning, assessment, record keeping and reporting.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure all children have access to a child-centered, broad and balanced curriculum by ensuring equity of access to the whole curriculum for all children.<\/li>\n
    • Ensure high-quality teaching and learning, supported by the principles of internationally accepted practices in early childhood education, through a rigorous program of monitoring and evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Accountability<\/p>\n

      \n
      • Work closely with the Governance Committee to provide a clear vision for the staff, parents, children and communities served by the Centre.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure that all regulatory requirements are followed and that the necessary supporting documents for all Inspections, are available consistently and in a timely manner.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure that parents and children are well informed about the school\u2019s direction, priorities and curriculum.<\/li>\n
      • Manage the process for external accreditation and evaluation with the aim to align the Centre with international standards to promote a continuous cycle of quality assurance.<\/li>\n
      • Develop and monitor programmatic KPI\u2019s and ensure the program meets its targets of high quality provision, reporting as required on progress.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Organization and resources<\/p>\n

        \n
        • Master\u2019s degree in early childhood education or CACHE Level 5, with a minimum of 5 years of experience with children aged 0-5 years of age<\/li>\n
        • Demonstrated leadership and teacher training skills<\/li>\n
        • Previous management experience (2 years minimum) in a nursery, preschool or school setting, preferably in UK\/UAE<\/li>\n
        • Excellent oral and written language proficiency in English<\/li>\n
        • Proficient in IT skills and experience with social media tools<\/li>\n
        • Creative thinker and writer<\/li>\n
        • Personal and professional skills that reflect adaptability, flexibility and problem solving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
