Ascot is looking for a sr. frontend developer who can lead the front-end development within a project team . Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Implement features, squash bugs, and make improvements across our React \/ Redux web app and React Native mobile application<\/li>\n
• Help lead the overall technical vision and strategy for all things Front End, including advocating for improvements to product quality, performance and developer experience<\/li>\n
• Collaborate with other engineers through pairing sessions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing in our weekly Friday Dev Chats<\/li>\n
• Mentor and lead junior engineers in software engineering methodology, design, and best practices<\/li>\n
• Work with the product team and feature owners to understand requirements and see them through to execution and deployment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Required Skills & Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Experienced with TypeScript, React, and React Native<\/li>\n
  • Large, complex projects with multiple integrations<\/li>\n
  • Software design principles<\/li>\n
  • Agile working practices<\/li>\n
  • Identifying potential risks and issues and communicating effectively to the wider project team<\/li>\n
  • Working closely with engineering and design teams utilizing UX, UI principles and best practices<\/li>\n
  • Mentoring and providing guidance to less experienced members of the team<\/li>\n
  • Devops tools experience (Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)<\/li>\n
  • Developing Progressive Web Apps, Service works and AMP<\/li>\n
  • Leading the front-end project setup, design and ongoing maintenance of solutions.<\/li>\n
  • Master of HTML & CSS and Javascript ES6 across cross-browser\/device<\/li>\n
  • Expert integrating with API endpoints<\/li>\n
  • Expert using a modern Javascript Framework such as VueJS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
