Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery will examine, diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the oral cavity and facial areas in his\/her specialty. Provide specialized dental treatment and consultations in the area of O&MS. Manage the trauma and infection of the facial area and arrange for the admission and referral to necessary medical specialties foe comprehensive treatment of these patients. He will supervise the dental residents and registrar in the area of O&MS and other procedures performed in the Day Surgery. Responsible for the care of his patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within his experience and training.<\/p>\n

Education and Licensure:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Bachelor degree of Dental Surgery or its equivalent from a recognized medical school.<\/li>\n
• Board Certification of subspecialty such as Saudi Board or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications is essential requirement that is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.<\/li>\n
• A valid license as Consultant to practice the subspecialty in the country of origin and from Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialties.<\/li>\n

  Professional Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Minimum of three (3) years Professional Experience after obtaining board certification in the sub Specialized the specialty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in Arabic would be of advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Good general health, able to work extended hours under stress, isolation and at high altitudes, mobility, near visual acuity and no uncorrected audiological problems.<\/li>\n
    • Teaching: To demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, professions.<\/li>\n
    • Research: to demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research related to the specialty<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
