They aim to provide a clear sense of the nature and scope of jobs at this grade:<br \/>\u2022 Delegated authority to supervise junior staff and\/or volunteers and delegated projects\/activities.<br \/>\u2022 Problems vary and include a combination of routine and some complex.<br \/>\u2022 Work pattern is a mixture of reactive and project work.<br \/>\u2022 Required to make sound judgements regularly within agreed processes using a good understanding of the team and the facilities of the team.<br \/>\u2022 Communication is largely with internal staff, (including internationally) also with some external contacts and target audiences to support operational work.<br \/>Analysis and communication of some complex information at a simple level is required to a wide audience to promote and influence.<br \/><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><br \/><strong>Technical<\/strong><br \/>\u2022 Under the guidance of the Camp Area Manager and the Economic Justice Programme Manager, to manage and coordinate the implementation and development of the project \u201cImproving refugees\u2019 socio-economic conditions in the Za\u2019atari camp through enhancing their capacities and employability skills\u201d.<br \/>\u2022 Manage the delivery of assigned activities in close coordination with Camp manager and EJ program manager<br \/>\u2022 Support Camp manger in managing project budget and forecast of the activities.<br \/>\u2022 Manage risks and propose risk mitigation plans and\/or actions as appropriate.<br \/>\u2022 Develop and foster links between partners, stakeholders, alliance members, development partners, end users and other market actors<br \/>\u2022 Ensure coordination with other Oxfam activities under the EJ programme.<br \/>\u2022 In conjunction with the team analyze and make the links between the WASH, Solid Waste<br \/>Management, EJ and CFW activities, and make recommendations for actions which are consistent with Oxfam&#039;s policies and sector requirements.<br \/>\u2022 Working closely with MEAL departments to develop project selecting criteria<br \/>\u2022 Donor reporting of project activities and indicators.<br \/><strong>Technical support<\/strong><br \/>Provide and facilitate expert advice and support in Livelihood programming in protracted crisis, including<br \/>1. Livelihoods, Home Based Businesses, financial literacy.<br \/>2. Programme Quality, Learning and Growth<br \/>3. Contribute to any future program designs and proposal writings<br \/>\u2022 Ensure programme quality, through appropriate use of Oxfam tools related to monitoring &amp; evaluation and learning; gender mainstreaming; active citizenship; accountability and governance<br \/>\u2022 Actively participate in designing the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning frameworks<br \/>\u2022 Monitoring camp-level and local economic trends that may influence job creation. Be committed to undertaking Oxfam\u2019s safeguarding training and adhering to relevant policies, to ensure all people who come into Oxfam are as safe as possible.<br \/><strong>Experience, Knowledge &amp; Competencies<br \/>Essentials<\/strong><br \/>For this role, you will need to model Oxfam\u2019s feminist leadership approach so we have selected the most relevant feminist leadership practices which we will use for assessment purposes (which you can read more about here):<br \/>Graduate from a recognized university, preferably Agricultural engineering.<br \/>At least 3 years expertise in livelihood in protracted crisis, including women economic empowerment<br \/>Good understanding of Jordan Livelihood programming Experience in and understanding of both urban and rural economic development programming contexts, preferably in a camp setting.<br \/>Proven ability to analyses complex environments at local and national level, monitor changes and translate into <strong>PERSON SPECIFICATION<\/strong><br \/>Appropriate strategic and creative planning.<br \/>Experience in management and capacity building of teams in complex contexts<br \/>Demonstrated experience of integrating gender and diversity into program strategies and<br \/>implementation<br \/>Excellent experience in all stages of project cycle management.<br \/>Good assessment, analytical, monitoring and evaluating and planning skills and project management skills to enable program delivery.<br \/>Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.<br \/>Very good written and spoken English and Arabic<br \/>Passionate about development work.<br \/>Ability to work with diplomacy, tact and sensitivity and experience in working within different cultural and political contexts showing high degree of self-awareness to one&#039;s strengths and limitations.<br \/>\u2022 Well developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations and \u2022 Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Oxfam and sharing similar values ability to work under pressure and in response to changing needs<\/p>\n<p>At interview, shortlisted candidates will also be assessed on our values and organisational attributes, as outlined above.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong><br \/>Experience in project proposals and reports writing with a strong ability in conveying complex ideas in a clear and understandable written manner.<br \/>Previous experience in a refugee camp context. <\/p>\n<p><strong>We will be reviewing the applications on a rolling basis.
