Roles and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

NAFFCO is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal person should be qualified in accounting\/finance and must have knowledge of VAT and tax.<\/p>\n

• Senior accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.<\/li>\n
• Highly organized, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of monthly Financial Statements of the company.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of the reports, payments, returns and reconciliation, as well as validation and review of the same with the books.<\/li>\n
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office \/MS Word\/MS PowerPoint and familiarity with relevant computer software (Tally).<\/li>\n
• Handling accounting entries, bookkeeping and daily accounting operations <\/li>\n
• Responsible for maintaining books of accounts accurately by ensuring proper accrual of expenses, recognition of revenue.<\/li>\n
• Responsible for reconciliation of intercompany accounts.<\/li>\n
• Adhere to the company\u2019s policies and procedures.<\/li>\n
• Verify and analyze expenses and report any deviations.<\/li>\n
• Suggest cost control and reduction measures through proper analysis of expenses.<\/li>\n
• Performs general accounting functions, accounting records, and other related duties in the daily administration of the accounting department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Post Graduate or MBA degree in accounting or finance, or CA .<\/p>\n

  8+ years of accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role<\/p>\n

  – Exposure to product costing, estimation, and pricing .<\/p>\n

  – Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.<\/p>\n

  – Understanding of production process flow, cost drivers and calculations of various operating ratios including assets and manpower utilization, efficiency etc<\/p>\n

  – Monthly closing, reporting and MIS experience required<\/p>\n

  – must be very good with MS Excel and PPTs<\/p>\n

  – Oracle experience preferred<\/p>\n

  – Experience in managing audits, and compliances will be useful.<\/p>\n

  – Strong communication and negotiation skills in partnership management and inter-department coordination.<\/p>\n

  – Sound knowledge of different types of financial reports and balance sheets.<\/p>\n
