Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Review, compound, prepares the compounding, preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals to patients or medical practitioners.<\/li>\n
2. Make decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals.<\/li>\n
3. Consult with patients and medical practitioners on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.<\/li>\n
4. Provide other drug and pharmaceutical information as appropriate.<\/li>\n
5. Oversee the acquisition and disbursement of drugs and medications to various offices, clinics, and other sites.<\/li>\n
6. Establish and maintain methods and manner of storage and recordkeeping systems.<\/li>\n
7. Take patient's history as required and make initial clinical assessments and refer patients to appropriate medical professionals.<\/li>\n
8. Perform routine quality control testing of equipment, environment and record keeping.<\/li>\n
9. Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and\/or infection control standards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

   Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

   • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.<\/li>\n
   • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
