Job Title – Applications Support Specialist
Location Doha, Qatar
Duration 1 Year renewable.
Qualification – Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related Degree from University is required
-Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in applications development and support. Mainly Microsoft framework\/applications such as Microsoft SharePoint, .NET and SQL. or work-related experience, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
– In-depth knowledge of networks with a focus on high-level design and planning.
Ideal candidate knows how to collaborate on large-scale projects but can also complete assigned tasks on their own
Responsibility <\/p>\n

\n
• To carry out L1,L2, and L3 support activities of the deployed applications <\/li>\n
• To act as functional consultant to support the business units and support them in using the systems <\/li>\n
• To document the business workflows using IBM Blue Works <\/li>\n
• To develop SharePoint applications, Web Parts, forms, and workflows <\/li>\n
• Custom development utilizing Microsoft technologies including .NET Framework, SharePoint (latest versions and 2013), SQL Server<\/li>\n
• Additional scripting languages, JavaScript, JQuery, XML<\/li>\n
• Support SharePoint applications like access permissions, enhancements and change requests <\/li>\n
• Monitor SharePoint server, performing cleanup and backup on regular basis <\/li>\n
• Provide on-going support of SharePoint systems including resolution of application systems incidents, root cause analysis of problems, impact analysis and planning of proposed system upgrades and patches<\/li>\n
• Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint usage and activity<\/li>\n
• Hands-on experience in developing and supporting complex business applications built using .NET or SharePoint framework<\/li>\n
• Understand SharePoint Development tools and architecture, accessing web services, connecting with external data (XML, SAP, SQL databases) <\/li>\n
• Experience in SharePoint administration and configuration <\/li>\n
• Microsoft certifications in the mentioned technologies is a plus <\/li>\n
• Strong English communication skills and ability in building good relations with end users <\/li>\n
• Problem solving and root cause analysis skills are highly required to succeed in this position.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
