They are currently looking for a Finance Manager for their Supermarket division to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities: <\/p>\n

\n
• Development of strategic plans and programs for the management<\/li>\n
• Oversee the development of the budget, the projected expenses for the administration and departments and submit to the Board of the company for review and approval<\/li>\n
• Arrange new sources of finance for the company's debt facilities<\/li>\n
• Formulate strategic and long-term business plans<\/li>\n
• Research the different factors that influence business performances<\/li>\n
• Analyse seasonal market trends and address to EC thus advise clients<\/li>\n
• Understand that job descriptions change over time. You are expected to maintain competence, awareness, and compliance with your job<\/li>\n
• Manage and interpret the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems such as GL, AR and AP etc.<\/li>\n
• Responsible for checking all cash payments received against actual sales report<\/li>\n
• Monitor and interpret cash flows and predicting future trends<\/li>\n
• Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk<\/li>\n
• Prepare and manage annual financial statements and company budget<\/li>\n
• Review and evaluate cost reduction opportunities open to the firm<\/li>\n
• Establish mutual relations between the company and the banking and financial institutions<\/li>\n
• Lay the foundations and standards aimed at financial planning and organising the necessary financial resources available to meet the funding needs<\/li>\n
• Perform other work-related duties and miscellaneous tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualification & Requirements:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Master's Degree in the subjects of accounting and finance or equivalent from an accredited university <\/li>\n
  • Hold a certificate from the following bodies: ACA\/ ACCA\/ CFA\/ CMA\/ CPA\/ or equivalent<\/li>\n
  • 10 years practical work experience in a similar field<\/li>\n
  • Familiar with all accounting processes<\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge of the methods of accounting and financial analysis<\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge of the general methodology for the preparation of budgets and financial statements<\/li>\n
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions<\/li>\n
  • Ability to coordinate and follow up<\/li>\n
  • Ability to build team spirit at work<\/li>\n
  • Ability to train staff and transfer knowledge to other employees<\/li>\n
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and writing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
