This position will oversee maintenance programs of Audio, Visual, Lighting and Projection of all rides & attractions for all parks at Dubai Parks & Resorts. If required, position requires candidate to support any other DHE wide verticals. To perform daily health check for AVL equipment\u2019s & prescribe a solution for any failure or malfunction. <\/p>\n

Job Scope: <\/p>\n

• Manage all rides AVL assets enclosed inside the ride box.<\/li>\n
• Work hand in hand with FM & Rides team on solving problems as a team.<\/li>\n
• Prepare & arrange periodic checks required for all AVL assets as prescribed by OEM\/ manufacturer.<\/li>\n
• Lead a team of AVL Supervisors & Technicians to periodic activities.<\/li>\n
• Liaise with equipment manufacturer & contractors on spare parts and consumables requirements.<\/li>\n
• Able to provide recommendation for upgrades & any training requirement for all AVL assets.<\/li>\n
• Write SOP & work instructions for all works related to periodic checks.<\/li>\n
• Must liaise with contractors and system integrators for approval of design & project coordination.<\/li>\n
• Perform & review risk assessment related to work activities on site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Perform appraisals & able to review job performance of team members.<\/p>\n

  Skills and experience:<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Minimum Bachelor\u2019s Degree in IT or Electrical & Electronics.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 7 years of experience in the amusement industry are required.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 10 years of work experience in the amusement industry is highly preferred.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Experience in pre-opening new theme parks is desired.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 In depth knowledge in QSYS programming & equipment maintenance.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Managing & programming of 7th Sense- Medialon show controllers & media servers.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Experienced in maintaining Barco , Christie, Panasonic & Digital Projection projectors.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Strong knowledge in show control networking.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Worked & serviced Kraftwerk show control system.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Knowledge of lighting console software, Chamsys preferred.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Sound knowledge in servers & networking.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Have industry knowledge of AVL suppliers & vendors in UAE.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Able to read & understand technical drawing.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Experienced in usage of computerized maintenance management system.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Able to write & speak fluent English is a must.<\/p>\n

  \u00b7 Must posses the ability to come up with quick & smart solutions for ride system.<\/p>\n
