We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about building great products for our customers. You need to be dynamic, collaborative, and curious as we build new experiences, improve existing products, and develop distributed systems powering the Middle East largest travel e-commerce websites.
Responsibilities:
<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Design, develop, and implement web-based php\/node applications to support business requirements.<\/li>\n
• Create design documents, perform program coding and testing, following the agile methodology.<\/li>\n
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.<\/li>\n
• Develop well written, testable, and efficient code<\/li>\n
• Working with functional, testing, and data teams and transferring knowledge when necessary<\/li>\n
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements
  <\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in PHP Laravel\/Lumen Development, ideally in an e-commerce company<\/li>\n
  • You are hands on in MongoDB<\/li>\n
  • Experience with Elasticsearch or SOLR (nice to have)<\/li>\n
  • You have an excellent understanding of Microservices\/ service-oriented architecture (SOA), SOLID principles, REST API design<\/li>\n
  • You have designed databases in the past, and have experience of SQL and NoSQL database<\/li>\n
  • Software testing (PHPUnit, Codeception, PHPSpec)<\/li>\n
  • You have built web services using Lumen<\/li>\n
  • You have worked in AWS environment<\/li>\n
  • Proven track record of always learning and growing<\/li>\n
  • Experience with caching and scaling techniques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
