What\u2019s the job?<\/p>\n

To perform the duties assigned by the Chef in order to provide the highest quality of food to our guests.<\/p>\n

  Your day to day<\/strong><\/p>\n

  Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Set up daily mise-en-place as per standards.<\/li>\n
  • Cleans and monitors work areas, equipment, utensils, and Cold Room.<\/li>\n
  • Arranges plates and help in dishing out meal portions according to the K.O.T. (Kitchen Order Ticket).<\/li>\n
  • Assist his immediate work colleagues, Supervisor in the performance of his duties.<\/li>\n
  • Takes charge of second Commis and if necessary in the absence of the Chef-in-charge and ensures all the standards are maintained consistently.<\/li>\n
  • Records all Recipes in his own Recipe Book.<\/li>\n
  • Works under the supervision and close guidance of the Demi Chef and Chef-in-charge.<\/li>\n
  • Prepares Sauces, Soups, Vegetables, Potatoes, and daily mise-en-place according to their requirement and keeps a close watch on them before they run short of it.<\/li>\n
  • Listens to guest complaints, and comments and relays same to his Superior and ensures proper action plan prepared by the Chef is followed.<\/li>\n
  • Ensures to report on duty on time and maintains punctuality.<\/li>\n
  • Reports for overtime as and when requested by the Chef-in-charge.<\/li>\n
  • Collects items from the Store against the proper requisition and place them in the proper place on a first-in first-out basis.<\/li>\n
  • Ensures that the hot food displayed is at the correct temperature.<\/li>\n
  • Ensures all the refilling is well presented on the buffet and maintains the quality.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What we need from you<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    • A similar experience is required in the Hotels & Resorts sector only. Minimum 2 years.<\/li>\n
    • Equivalent qualification (high school diploma), or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
