Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to, guided and directed by the MEAL Manager, the MEAL Officer is:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Capacity in MEL curriculum development and training.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Monitoring and Evaluating all GFP Programmes by:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting, the creation and design of innovative quantitative and qualitative M&amp;E frameworks and tools for GFP peacebuilding interventions, intended to project GFP as a leader in grass roots participatory M&amp;E of peacebuilding programming<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa providing technical support to each Programmes team, who have lead responsibility for the implementation of compulsory GFP M&amp;E processes in all Programmes, whether GFP- or donor-funded, thereby strengthening Programmes\u2019 implementation and quality <\/p>\n<p>\u25aa providing technical support and mentoring to Programmes Staff on applying the compulsory GFP processes, such as quantitative baseline\/endline surveys and analysis; qualitative session monitoring, learning and reflection; and qualitative Participatory Evaluation M&amp;E processes and tools, in all Programmes, whether GFP- or donor-funded, in ways which meet GFP as well as donor needs, requirements, and standards<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting on analysing effectiveness of M&amp;E processes to meet GFP and donor needs, requirements, and standards, providing recommendations for adaptation\/development of the M&amp;E processes, and advising where donor requirements need to be (re)negotiated<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting the conceptualisation, logframes, post-approval adjustments, local capacity-building, monitoring &amp; reporting components for all GFP\u2019s ongoing and future grants, in ways which meet the Donor Grant Proposal requirements and desired GFP Programme interventions that are subject of Donor Grant Proposals;<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa implementing and monitoring accountability initiatives including effective feedback mechanisms, and practices across the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Delivering on Data Management and Analysis by:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting the review, validating, storing, analysis and presentation\/visualisation of M&amp;E quantitative and qualitative data collected by Programmes Department, to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for GFP HQ and GFP volunteers<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting the review, validating, storing, analysis and presentation\/visualisation of accountability and learning quantitative and qualitative data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for GFP HQ and GFP volunteers<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa providing support to ensure that GFP and donor data queries and information requests are addressed in an accurate and timely manner;<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Delivering on Reports, Communications and Proposals by:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa providing comprehensive M&amp;E technical input to Programmes Staff into Programme Evaluations Reports and donor reports by combining baseline\/endline data analysis, Participatory Evaluation findings including reflections and recommendations, any donor-required inputs, as well as any new GFP-designed frameworks, for and across all GFP Programmes <\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Ensuring Quality Assurance and Learning by:<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance, accountability and learning frameworks within the Programmes Department through rigorous application of M&amp;E and feedback processes across all Programmes<\/p>\n<p>\u25aa Supporting Programmes Department\u2019s major events, including direct training events (Camps, Advanced Trainings, Refresher Trainings, Refresher Workshops etc.)  \u25aa Any other delegated tasks by supervisor.<\/p>\n<p>3<strong>.
