JOB PURPOSE
Is responsible for delivering multiple technology solutions to meet Business requirements, in line with the Bank IT Strategies and Architectures. Providing ad-hoc consultancy, direction and clarity to both Business and IT communities The incumbent is part of the team responsible for delivery of application, infrastructure and data strategies, roadmaps, and reference architecture and technology governance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic<\/p>\n

\n
• Follow IT Operation policies and processes in-line with the business requirements.<\/li>\n
• Engineering IT Operation practices throughout the organization using ITIL Standards.<\/li>\n
• Maintain the proper relationship with other cross IT functions within the organization.<\/li>\n
• Coordinate with support, core and application teams to delivery and enhance IT productivity.<\/li>\n
• Execute solutions which are in-line with the business requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Functional<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Providing technological and strategic solutions as required to meet business needs<\/li>\n
  • Prepare impact assessment reports based on the high level business requirements<\/li>\n
  • Provide high level cost & estimation<\/li>\n
  • Delivery of the Solution designs for the bank&rsquos agreed strategic projects<\/li>\n
  • Working with the relevant Program \/ Project Manager responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution required by the Business<\/li>\n
  • Provide ad-hoc consultancy as required to the Business on strategic or technical matters<\/li>\n
  • Support Formal RFP\/ RFI process for product and technology procurement<\/li>\n
  • Ensure risk control and compliance through technology architectures and solutions<\/li>\n
  • Adhere to architectural governance and compliance through Solution designs<\/li>\n
  • Provide Technology training when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    People Management<\/p>\n

    \n
    • Extensive cooperation, interaction and coordination with all levels of Gulf Bank employees – from developers to board members – across various departments of operation and all Lines of Business.<\/li>\n
    • Actively foster and maintain relationships with key constituents.<\/li>\n
    • Build consensus and be able to negotiation within Governance and internal partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Ensure all Company and Department policies and procedures are followed.<\/li>\n
      • Follows IT standards & defined processes and policies for workflow using a systematic approach, to complete assigned tasks.<\/li>\n
      • Ensure positive service image in the user community.<\/li>\n
      • Manage several projects concurrently.<\/li>\n
      • Manage multiple projects concurrently.<\/li>\n
      • Work both conceptually and &ldquohands on as situation warrants.<\/li>\n
      • Juggle multiple priorities with constantly changing technical and support requirements.<\/li>\n
      • Perform other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        IT Security<\/p>\n

        • Implement and act in accordance with the organization&rsquos information security policies.<\/li>\n
        • Protect assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference.<\/li>\n
        • Execute particular security processes or activities.<\/li>\n
        • Ensure responsibility is assigned to the individual for actions taken.<\/li>\n
        • Follow guidelines provided by CBK, internal and external audits.<\/li>\n
        • Report security events or potential events or other security risks to the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          EDUCATION<\/p>\n

          \n
          • Bachelor&rsquos Degree in computer science or an equivalent<\/li>\n
          • Microsoft, Linux, Solaris and VMware certification<\/li>\n
          • ITIL Certified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n

            \n
            • Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Knowledge<\/p>\n

              \n
              • Technical knowledge of network, operating systems (Windows%5CLinux%5CSolaris) and Virtualization.<\/li>\n
              • Technical knowledge on infrastructure storage.<\/li>\n
              • Ability to work in shifts.<\/li>\n
              • Hands-on experience in multitasking relating to calls and email communications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
