Your Responsibilities<\/p>\n

• The PostgreSQL Database Developer is responsible for developing database code powering the cloud platform. Working closely with the development team to implement effective and maintainable database coding practices that form an architectural foundation.<\/li>\n
• As a Database Administrator you'll be responsible for configuring, monitoring and query analysis to understand how teams are using the data allocation of system storage and planning storage requirements planning backup and recovery of database information and managing data replication. You'll take ownership of DBA activities working alongside a Data Engineer.<\/li>\n
• Strong experience as a Database Administrator \/ DBA including performance tuning and optimization.<\/li>\n
• Experience of building and deploying PostgreSQL clusters into production.<\/li>\n
• Experience of working with high availability, scalable environments.<\/li>\n
• Strong analysis and problem solving skills.<\/li>\n
• Collaborative with strong communications skills, comfortable liaising with the business to understand user needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Your Qualifications<\/p>\n

  \n
  • 5+ years working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL.<\/li>\n
  • Expert Level SQL, PL\/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels<\/li>\n
  • 2+ years of experience with MongoDB & Neo4J database development.<\/li>\n
  • The candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the differences between typical relational and NoSQL database development and access methodologies. Experience should include collection creation, access method tuning, index creation, and debugging query execution to obtain top database performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
