• Counsel students regarding abroad education opportunities such as regarding Country, Course, Universities, and programme selection, and career planning with accurate information.<\/li>\n
• Provide students with materials related to a career of their choice or career counseling to suit their skills.<\/li>\n
• Understand the requirements of each lead enquiry through a thorough fact-finding mechanism.<\/li>\n
• Generate leads for potential students & build a pipeline of future business.<\/li>\n
• Call potential customers on regular basis to generate business<\/li>\n
• Conduct & attend events (Online as well as in person) to interact with potential customers.<\/li>\n
• Ensure parent\/student leaves with a positive word of mouth which can bring more clients and increase referrals<\/li>\n
• Stay updated about the various study abroad programs offered by College\/universities and use the knowledge in helping students<\/li>\n
• Receive client details and judge the suitability of the candidate for the course and university of his\/her choice and accordingly give guidance.<\/li>\n
• Assisting with activities to promote Universities represented by the Company<\/li>\n
• Analyse the mind-set of the students who are interested in abroad education and Motivate and encourage clients to take up the course.<\/li>\n
• Responsible for timely reporting to the Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Student Counselor Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in counseling.<\/li>\n
  • Master's degree in counseling may be advantageous.<\/li>\n
  • Minimum of 3 years professional counseling experience, preferably in an educational field.<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational assessment.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent active listening and communication skills.<\/li>\n
  • Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.<\/li>\n
  • Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body language.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and mediation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
