Project quality<\/p>\n

• To help in ensuring the quality of implemented projects through reporting follow up, results monitoring, context monitoring, lessons learned and knowledge management, tools development and tracking financial, and Project achievement <\/li>\n
• To work closely with the Program managers and the WASH coordinator in coordinating information exchange and timely support.<\/li>\n
• Collect information from the bases, clusters and other secondary sources and assist in the quality analysis of the activities carried out with the WASH Coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Coordination, technical support and operational monitoring<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Together with the WASH coordinator, set objectives and specific and general indicators in order to assess and monitor the impact of the programs and to reshape them if necessary <\/li>\n
  • Support WASH coordinator and program managers for carrying out and\/or supervising task and resource planning over time, developing context analysis, compiling best practices and systematizing across the bases, according to the objectives which have been set <\/li>\n
  • Monitor the development of current programs (progress, suitability and effectiveness) and regular update to WASH coordinator <\/li>\n
  • Together with the WASH coordinator, ensure and approve quality and adherence to guidelines and due dates set in any contractual documents (proposal, intermediate and final reports…) <\/li>\n
  • Ensure that local communities are closely involved in project implementation and that the relationship between Solidarit\u00e9s International and local communities remains harmonious, together with Program managers<\/li>\n
  • Together with the WASH coordinator, be involved in the review and follow-up of the different operational follow ups and support in various SoP and Quality standard checklists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Strategic orientation<\/p>\n

    • The Assitant WASH coordinator takes part to the development and implementation of Solidarit\u00e9s International technical strategy in the country.<\/li>\n
    • To participate in preparation of assessment methodology and reporting formats as specified in the Tool Box to ensure timely and high quality information analysis and recommendation <\/li>\n
    • To participate in humanitarian needs identification and analysis and in the conceptualization of appropriate activities in collaboration with targeted communities<\/li>\n
    • To participate in and draft project ideas, concept notes and proposals for funding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Knowledge management<\/p>\n

      • Reporting: To ensure that project files are complete and regularly updated with periodic reporting and monitoring information and communications.<\/li>\n
      • Coordination: To participate in information collection, through development of a network of humanitarian stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Reporting \/ communication \/ representation <\/p>\n

        • To participate in prepare preparing project and WASH program reports weekly, Monthly, including compiling of 4W reports from all bases) and other reports as necessary, together with analysis and recommendations<\/li>\n
        • Compile the activity sheets provided in the Tool box form the different bases<\/li>\n
        • Participate to the Consolidation \u2026activity\u2026 activity reports and supervise the preparation annexes linked to \u2026activity\u2026 activities for reports and\/or financial donors with the Program Coordinator <\/li>\n
        • Represent the organization when asked and\/or delegated to do so<\/li>\n
        • In conjunction with the WASH Coordinator, establish and maintain a communication network and good relations with local\/government authorities, financial donor representatives, UN agencies and other international agencies<\/li>\n
        • \u00b7Support the WASH coordinator and the program on SOV, contract administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • BSC\/M.SC- in Water resources, Civil Engineering or any relevant field <\/li>\n
          • Minimum of 2 Years Experience in WASH projects, preferably in INGO <\/li>\n
          • Knowledgeable on Syria context <\/li>\n
          • Excellent in Cutting edge technologies (CAD, Epanet) and MS office<\/li>\n
          • Skilled in data management, analysis and report writing<\/li>\n
          • Strong communication, analysis and writing skills.<\/li>\n
          • Commitment to beneficiary accountability and humanitarian principles.<\/li>\n
          • Fluency in Arabic and good English language skills (spoken and written)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
