Main tasks and responsibilities:
\u00b7 Prepare frequent financial reports, forecasts, and statements for management.\u00b7 Ensure month-end closing to include reconciling accounts payable trial balance to ensure correctness and accuracy.\u00b7 Oversee consolidation of monthly \/ financial year closing and assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual report using IFRS and AAIOFI standards.\u00b7 Prepare and review all accounts payable financial reports and data in a timely and accurate manner.\u00b7 Reconcile the account receivables to ensure that all payments are accounted properly on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.\u00b7 Generate financial statements and reports detailing paid and unpaid receivables, bank deposit records, reports of active accounts, Aging analysis, status of the accounts and collection on weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually basis using IFRS and AAIOFI standards.\u00b7 Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and variances.\u00b7 Ensure transactions posted to GL comply with IFRS and AAIOFI standards.\u00b7 Prepare financial statement (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, change of equity).\u00b7 Manages the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.\u00b7 Monitor, guide and manage the team, provide them guidance to coach, motivate, and lead them to use optimum performance.\u00b7 Handles communication with the team, live meetings, email correspondence, reporting etc..\u00b7 Assign and monitor the tasks to complete appropriate work assignments.\u00b7 Produce metrics which provide visibility on the progress of work assignments and team performance.
Qualifications:
\u00b7 Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or another relevant field.\u00b7 At least four years of experience in general management, financial analysis, financial reporting, cash flow analysis, budget development and forecasting.\u00b7 Experience developing and implementing finance and accounting policies, procedures, manuals, and systems.\u00b7 Excellent analytical and computer skills, with strong experience in Excel.\u00b7 Well-developed and effective organizational skills, including to ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.Interested candidates can send their resume in an email with the subject of \u201cSenior Accountant\u201d to the email
