Role Objective \/ Purpose<\/p>\n
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for the cost estimation, management, and planning where they relate to projects. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for providing technical expertise related to contracts to minimize legal and financial risk. The Commercial Manager will support the PM team and the project managers in preparing cost estimates and identifying potential subcontractors. During the post sales phase, the Commercial Manager will oversee key milestones, provide analysis on risks and mitigations, and oversee claims and disputes management in coordination with the Project Manager and Legal.<\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
General <\/p>\n
\u2022 Reviewing and providing technical expertise on client contracts where they relate to financial & legal terms, and key milestones in coordination with the project manager, legal, and the sales team \u2022 Manage and assess contracts related to PM projects from a risk management perspective and propose mitigations <\/p>\n
\u2022 Preforming risk analysis over the entire project life cycle (pre-sales to upon project execution and handover to operator) and providing mitigation solutions <\/p>\n
\u2022 Analyze costing for tenders in conjunction with the sales team <\/p>\n
\u2022 Oversee the management of contractual claims <\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide analysis on the project progress to ensure that key milestones are met to avoid any contractual claims or ensure client satisfaction <\/p>\n
\u2022 In conjunction with the project manager, valuation of the completed work in order to raise invoices to the client <\/p>\n
\u2022 Identify key information and provide reports to management on project progress from a contractual, cost and risk perspective <\/p>\n
\u2022 Developing, maintaining, and administering the commercial elements of subcontractor work streams \u2022 Provide support to the procurement team on methods to increase cost effectiveness on purchases for given projects <\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist the Head of PM for the cost estimation, management, and planning where they relate to projects and finalize the price with the sales team <\/p>\n
Health and Safety: <\/p>\n
\u2022 Act as the Health and Safety representative within the standards and culture of the company \u2022 Establish health and safety best practices as per industry benchmarks and ensure adherence to standards by achieving company health and safety targets <\/p>\n
\u2022 Conduct regular audits as required by the company audit schedule to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements <\/p>\n
\u2022 Involvement in projects investigations as required <\/p>\n
\u2022 To ensure projects businesses are compliant with all appropriate Health and Safety, legislative and business requirements<\/p>\n
\u2022 Minimum of a bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or equivalent. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Certification from Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors preferred. <\/p>\n
\u2022 6 years\u2019 plus experience in a similar role. <\/p>\n
\u2022 Must have experience in GCC <\/p>\n
\u2022 Training in: <\/p>\n
o CRM <\/p>\n
o Microsoft Dynamix 365 <\/p>\n
o Project management software <\/p>\n
