S\/He is responsible for: 1) providing oversight of country-level data and information management process<br \/>and technology solutions, 2) supporting their maintenance -for both Mercy Corps Jordan and partners &#8211; ensuring<br \/>the quality of the portfolio\u2019s MEL information management systems, and 3) ensuring effective information sharing<br \/>to help Mercy Corps Jordan programs improve and prove adaptive management strategies and effectiveness of<br \/>its interventions and approaches.<br \/>The Senior Information Management Coordinator is an integral part of MCJ\u2019s programs team, and is positioned<br \/>inside the PAQ Unit to support projects and programs to improve data and information management processes.<br \/>Under the leadership of the Senior MEL Manager, the Senior Information Management Coordinator supports the<br \/>design and implementation of a holistic MEL system that aligns technical software needs (data collection, storage,<br \/>analysis and visualization) and acts as a key contributor in helping MCJ MEL teams solve Data Management and<br \/>tech challenges related to data collection, integration and manipulation, dashboarding, and mapping, ensuring<br \/>capacity building is available to program staff and learning materials are relevant to program efforts; lead<br \/>refreshers\/training sessions as appropriate, Support the establishment of a data-visualization agenda that<br \/>prioritizes and schedules the release of digital products reflecting program activities and impact, support linking<br \/>the MC T4D global agenda and initiatives to MCJ program implementation processes. Solid foundation of statistics, probability and counterfactuals strongly<br \/>preferred.
