The organization is a multinational manufacturing corporation with more than 2000 individuals under their employment with over 150 million dollars reported in global sales. They have more than ten established facilities spread across Africa and the Middle East.
Description
Keeping track of and revising project cost estimates to make sure they stay within budget.Examining expense reports to make sure that expenditures are reasonable and pertinent to the situation.Working along with other divisions including human resources, payroll, accounting, and finance to make sure all costs are appropriately documented.Performing cost studies to find places where expenditures can be cut or eliminated entirely. Monitoring budgets to make sure spending stays within set limits.Creating reports for management on costs and expenses by gathering cost information from suppliers or subcontractors.Managing supplier relationships to ensure that the business is receiving high-quality products at reasonable pricing.Preparing bid estimates for new projects or bids on existing projects.
Profile
Degree in Accounting \/ Finance is needed.Should have an understanding of Variance and Business Analysis (Experience is preferred).Experience working in a multinational corporation.Extensive working knowledge of SAP.Qualification like CA or ACCA is preferred.Experience working within the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.Hands-on experience with cost accounting, reporting duties, run rates and allocation keys.
